ALUUC Sunday Service Announcements - Sept 1 - "Local, LOCAL, LOCO" by Randy Eccles, General Manager, NPR Illinois, (WUIS). *** The Change for Change collection will benefit the UU Prison Ministry of Illinois.*** Through advocacy, education, inside ministry and congregational work, “We equip UU's in Illinois to transform institutions and support people harmed by the prison industrial complex. Congregations are an integral part of our work at UU Prison Ministry. Congregations take our work further than we can as individuals both by participating directly with those returning to our communities in Solidarity Circles and by writing & visiting those who are locked up.
